Paid To Post

Well all want to get paid to be on social media. Tweeting, posting pics, writing in blogs and posting on facebook doesn't seem like a way to make money but you can!

Will you get rich doing these things? Probably not, but you will make some extra money.

Everyone knows there are tons of scams online promising big bucks for little effort posting on social media platforms, and there's a ton of scams promising impossible amounts if you buy their "system" for only $19.99.

Few people know that you don't need to buy into these scams, all you really need is to be on various social media platforms with some followers, of course the more followers you have the more money you can potentially make, but you can still make a few extra bucks with only a handful of people following you.

The secret? Sponsored Tweets

Sponsored tweets is a free program in which you can bid on paid posts, whether that be tweets, blog posts, instagramfacebookECT
There are companies looking for social media influencers to post about new products, new sites, award shows, movies, just about anything.

Now signing up, connecting your social media and filling out your profile does not guarantee you will get paid. Companies will put up offers and you can choose to bid on them or decline them. If you bid, you are telling the company that you want to do that post and you will accept X amount for it. This does not guarantee payment either, the company decides who they want to post. When you fill out the info for your bid, you are showing the company how you will present the info and how well you follow their guidelines. If the company likes what they see from you and are comfortable with the dollar amount, you get notified, the ad gets posted and you get paid.

Sounds simple enough, there's a catch though. The basic free plan only allows you to bid 5 times a month but there are options to buy upgraded plans that allow you to bid as much as you want every month.

I personally never buy upgraded plans because I feel like I just won't get enough use out of the site to justify spending any money but this site has me wanting to buy a plan just so I can work more. I really enjoy the process and if I'm being honest, I enjoy being challenged to come up with creative posts for things that I wouldn't usually post about. It feeds into my creativity, plus who doesn't like getting paid to post? I know I do.

I know some of you might be wondering if this post itself is sponsored or paid, the answer is NO.

So how do you know if the post or link you click is a paid ad? Somewhere before, during or after the post it will say "ad" "sponsored by" "this has been a paid product placement" or some other creative way of telling you that person got paid to post it.  I like to put my disclaimers at the bottom of my posts and add a "sponsored" tag to the post but everyone discloses their sponsored posts in a different way.
